What To Expect When You Bring Your Car To Kniesel’s Auto Service Centers

When you bring your vehicle to Kniesel’s Auto Service Centers, you can expect that we do more than just service and repair your car. You may not know this, but we pour a lot of time and financial commitment back into our local communities to make our world a better place, one auto repair at a time.

Most people assume that our only focus is on fixing cars. But the truth is that our real focus is making life better for everyone we serve. That is why in November, we do gift cards as a thank you to our clients for their loyal support once they have spent a certain amount. Additionally, with each dollar you spend at Kniesel’s Auto Service Centers, a small percentage of your purchase goes to charitable causes.

One of the charities we support through proceeds from each sale is the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Why is this organization so near and dear to our hearts? We have six adopted children, and we love them all dearly. In honor of National Adoption Day on November 21, 2020, we donate a portion of our proceeds to this organization since kids always need stuff. The monies raised go to the purchase of school supplies, backpacks, shoes, socks, underwear, coats, and more.

Here is some background on National Adoption Day, November 21, 2020:

“National Adoption Day is a collective effort to raise awareness of the more than 120,000 children waiting to be adopted from foster care in the United States. A coalition of national partners — the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, Alliance for Children’s Rights, and Children’s Action Network — founded National Adoption Day.

On November 18, 2000, the coalition and the Freddie Mac Foundation encouraged nine cities to open their courts on or around the Saturday before Thanksgiving to finalize and celebrate foster care adoptions.
The first National Adoption Day was inspired by the innovative efforts of Michael Nash, a former presiding judge of Los Angeles County’s Juvenile Court. He opened the court on Saturdays, engaged the volunteer efforts of court personnel, and finalized adoptions to reduce the backlog of one of the busiest courts in the nation.”
