New Year’s Resolutions For Your Family Fleet of Vehicles

As you think about your New Year’s Resolutions for 2021, we have some ideas for you and your family’s fleet of vehicles.

Resolve to take good care of your cars.
The year 2020 was a challenging one. Part of why last year was so challenging is that many of us were unprepared for the uncertainties that would unfold during the pandemic. Now that we’ve been dealing with the COVID era for almost a year, we know that preventive maintenance is a smart thing. Resolve to stop pushing off the needed repairs your family vehicles require and handle those repairs right away. If you get into a situation like fire evacuations or something else that requires you to drive for long distances, you need to make sure your cars are in good shape so they can get you where you need to go more safely. Seriously, resolve to take good care of your family fleet of vehicles.

Save money on automotive repair with our Goldenrod Flyer.
Every year, Kniesel’s Auto Service Centers mails out a Goldenrod Flyer to our clients, and this flyer is packed with money-saving coupons. We want to help you stick to your resolution of taking good care of your cars, and we do this by sending you our annual Goldenrod Flyer. Get out into nature as often as possible.
We all want to put the pandemic behind us as quickly as possible. Many of us are spending more time in nature to breathe in the fresh air, leave the stresses of home and work behind, and get some exercise. But to do so, many folks have to drive there. Take a day trip to the river, go for a hike, or spend time on the slopes. Whatever you can do to get out in nature more frequently while practicing social distancing is a great way to relax and unwind.

Remove distractions while driving.
Because many people are spending more time at home and less time driving, we have noticed a few things. People’s driving skills have become a little rusty, and they are more likely to get distracted while driving. Put away your cell phones to reduce the temptation to check your texts. Try eating your lunch before hitting the road. Keep the volume down on your family’s mobile devices, so the beeps, rings, alerts, dialogue, and other sounds do not distract or alarm the driver. Safety and continued health should be your primary focus while traveling in your vehicle.

Don’t take things for granted.
If you had told us in January 2020 how crazy the next twelve months would be, would you have believed it? We’ve endured quite a year, and a lot of the things we always thought we’d have disappeared quickly. Don’t take things for granted, like your family, work, health, mobility, and the activities you love. If we all do our part to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities, we will come out on the other side of our collective challenges. Every day offers unique opportunities, and life does not provide us guarantees. Take care of your belongings and the people you hold dear so they, in turn, can take care of you.

Our family-owned and operated business deeply cares about you, your well being, your vehicles, and our community. We want to do our part to service and repair your car, so you reduce the risk of a breakdown while visiting family and friends. If health is the most incredible wealth, give your vehicle a safety inspection to make sure it performs at its best.
