Transmission

Most manufacturers recommend that manual transmission fluid be changed every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Under heavy-duty use, some manufacturers suggest changing transmission fluid every 15,000 miles. Service intervals for an automatic transmission vary from 60,000 to 100,000 miles. Changing it more often does no harm.


Starter or Alternator Replacement: The starter is what really gets the engine going, signs or your started failing can be subtle but our technicians here at kniesel’s know what signs to look for. Timing belt replacement: it keeps everything in the engine in sync. When the engine is on, it's in constant, timed motion, thanks to the belt, the connection between the crankshaft and camshaft. Without it, the pistons and valves would collide.Obviously, this is bad news for vehicle maintenance as this internal collision can cause destruction fair amount of engine damage. This is why it is important to stay ahead of your timing belts and come into kniesels and have one of our expert technician’s check and replace your old timing belts.
