OUR STORY

Over forty years ago, Richard Kniesel Sr. founded Kniesel's Sunrise Automotive, a family-run auto service center committed to providing the highest quality auto service, customer care, and a concerned presence in the community.

The name may have changed to Kniesel's Auto Service Centers at some point in the past, but the founding principles of Kniesel’s remain the same. From "Grandpa", to his son Gary Kniesel, to his grandson Brent, our commitment to honest, quality service still drives everything we do.

We have surrounded ourselves with the best automotive technicians available, offering our employees full benefits and a safe, healthy work environment. Our technicians are highly trained professionals who have earned ASE and other notable certifications.

We are devoted to community service, both locally and globally. Brent Kniesel and his wife, Jody, are active members of their church and community organizations. We donate our time and resources to programs here in Citrus Heights, including youth sports leagues, schools, the women’s shelter, and the American Cancer Society. We also strive to improve the quality of life for those outside the U.S., with projects in Mexico and Rwanda.
