About Kniesel's Auto Service Centers

Mr. Richard Kniesel Sr. founded Kniesel's Sunrise Automotive in 1965. Since then it has transformed into what is known today as Kniesel's Auto Service Center. Mr. Richard Kniesel Sr., known to most everyone as "Grandpa" still comes in daily to help with bookkeeping and managing the sales department.

Kniesel's is a AAA approved repair facility. We have excellent standing with the Bureau of Automotive Repair.

From "Grandpa" to his son Gary Kniesel, to his grandson Brent, the torch has passed. Each generation has equipped the next for valuable service to the community of Citrus Heights and surrounding areas.

Brent Kniesel and his wife Jody teach Sunday school at their church and have leadership responsibilities there.
